About the role...

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join our Customer Support Centre based in Walsall. The role will offer a hybrid working pattern.  

This newly created position will support the Digital Marketing Manager by executing activities that drive traffic to both the Poundland & Dealz websites, effectively communicating brand messaging and delivering a seamless digital customer experience.

Your Impact and Responsibilities…

In this role you'll manage the day to day activity of our digital shop window for our customers. You'll ensure the promotions, pricing and products are aligned with our commercial plan, enabling our customers to browse our range before making a trip to our stores. Working closely with the wider trading and marketing team you'll ensure we are visible against our competitors and we get our fantastic ranges in front of our customers. 

  • Execute the activities to deliver the ongoing SEO strategy 
  • Supporting the Digital Marketing Manager and working with third party development agency to ensure the site is functional and best in class
  • Taking a data-led approach to nominating and boosting key products across listing pages based on their performance and engagement.
  • Building and dispatching CRM emails

Skills and Knowledge…

For this role we are seeking a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. You will be able to demonstrate understanding and working knowledge of core merchandising techniques and principles including website development, ongoing site optimisation, SEO, paid / performance marketing, CRM and product merchandising.
